It’s been a few days since my last post—not because I’ve run out of ideas, but because I’ve been elbows-deep in something new: plugin development.
This is a fresh frontier for me. I’ve worked with WordPress for years—designing, fixing, optimizing—but now I’m stepping into creating tools I’ve wished existed for a long time. Tools I haven’t seen done quite right, or ones I believe I can do better. Each plugin is designed to serve a specific purpose I’ve run into over and over again—either in client work or on my own projects.
Here’s what’s currently in motion:
The HyperLynx Plugin Suite (WIP)
SpeedTrap – Pinpoints what’s slowing down your pages and provides quick insights (including HTTP status codes) in plain language. Great for troubleshooting performance without diving into a pile of dev logs. GridStyle – A visual, spreadsheet-style editor for Additional CSS. Organizes styles into readable, filterable blocks—ideal for anyone who’s tired of scrolling through a CSS wall of doom. HyperLynx Dashboard – The control panel that ties the suite together. Simple UI, signal-tower vibes. Minimal fluff. TuneClaw – For content clarity and keyword refinement. Think of it like a precision tuner for your meta tags and messaging. StillClaw – Keeps track of what’s stable vs. what’s been recently edited or needs review. It’s a low-key version control layer for non-devs. EchoFang – Clicks, paths, and echo trails. Tracks user behavior and drop-offs in a visual way to help sharpen the path to conversion.
LinguaCode + MirthCat (Alpha Build)
This one’s a hybrid learning system still in early stages. For now, it focuses on dual learning: teaching Python while reinforcing core human-language concepts (grammar, structure, logic). It’s designed to be fun, structured, and metaphor-rich—starting with Latin and Python. MirthCat is the core environment it will run inside.
Elsewhere at the Lodge…
Homepage Redesign & Focus Refinement: I’ve been tightening the layout, updating icons, and making the new homepage funnel more intentional. Less clutter. More signal. Reusable Content Blocks: I’m creating modular sections I can drop into blog posts, service pages, and future landing pages. These include project spotlights, service promos, and linked product features. Plugin Reading & Research: I’ve been deep-diving into how plugins are structured, activated, and deployed—so these aren’t just ideas, they’re becoming real, testable tools.

More updates soon. For now, back to the workbench.
